Several times each month, we select one of the submitted Community Insights to be featured here. To make the cut, an Insight must be an outstanding example of the power and functionality of NetSensory Insights, and must help or enable users in a new way. The currently featured NetSensory Insight is:

Han Wen’s NetSensory Navigator (Explorer)

Here are a few words from Han about this really awesome Insight:

“The main purpose of this Insight is to serve as a simplified troubleshooting tool to access all of our NS data within a compact simplified interface. Traditionally, a customer has to bring up a Top table with a zoo of metrics without much context, use that as your navigational tree and then double-click or drag-n-drop to get a visualization of the data in terms of a time series chart. This quickly leads to a multitude of different windows, with different charts and tables with nothing to really tie them all together in any context. I’ve tried to capture this typical navigational workflow in this Insight. You’ll notice first of all the toolbar at the top which is basically equivalent to the default toolbar in a Top table, but here I’ve made the subtle change in the ordering so that it reads like a normal sentence: Top 10 Business Group by Throughput (Inbound and Outbound). As with the Top tables, this search rule is applied to the groups that show up in the corresponding table and all of its drilldowns. So, with this toolbar, you can also change the table type to any of those available in the product today (IPs, Dest Ases, etc).”
